photo frame for mother's day

Soon we will celebrate Mother's Day in Poland.
Have you got a present for your mum?
If not, you can make a photo frame :) It's easy and looks beautiful.

Here are the things you have to prepare to make it:

How to make the frame?

STEP 1: Draw 2 hearts on both pieces of the cardboard.

STEP 2: Cut out the hearts and use some glue to stick them together (remember not to put any glue on the top of the frame).

STEP 3: Fold the rectangular piece of the cardboard in a half and stick it to the back part of the frame.

STEP 4: Cut the newspaper into square pieces (4cm x 4cm), then roll them to form small straws.

STEP 5: Use the glue to stick the straws to the frame.

STEP 6: Decorate the frame with the glitter.

The frame is ready :) We hope you like it!!!

National Independence Day in Poland

Poland lost its independence in 1775 and regained it in 1918 when the World War I ended. We celebrate the National Independence Day on 11th November. It is our national holiday. On this day people in Poland take part in parades organized all over the country and decorate their houses with national flags.

Below you can find some information about two symbols of our country.

The National Flag of Poland

The Polish National Flag consists of two equally wide horizontal stripes. These stripes are white and red. The white colour symbolizes purity and the red colour symbolizes courage.

The Emblem of Poland
Another symbol of our country is a white eagle on a red shield. The eagle has got a crown on its head. It’s our National Emblem.

Halloween is here! (photorelation)

Do we celebrate Halloween in Poland? No, we don't :) But we love traditions connected with this American holiday.

That's why we decorated our club with funny pumpkins...

... creepy ghosts...

... and white, black and orange balloons.
Then, we compared Polish and American traditions...

....We danced like skeletons...

We made some drawings drawings of...

... Crazy Monsters :)

We got some sweets...
... and we had a lot of fun!
