photo frame for mother's day

Soon we will celebrate Mother's Day in Poland.
Have you got a present for your mum?
If not, you can make a photo frame :) It's easy and looks beautiful.

Here are the things you have to prepare to make it:

How to make the frame?


STEP 1: Draw 2 hearts on both pieces of the cardboard.

STEP 2: Cut out the hearts and use some glue to stick them together (remember not to put any glue on the top of the frame).

 

STEP 3: Fold the rectangular piece of the cardboard in a half and stick it to the back part of the frame.

STEP 4: Cut the newspaper into square pieces (4cm x 4cm), then roll them to form small straws.

STEP 5: Use the glue to stick the straws to the frame.

STEP 6: Decorate the frame with the glitter.

The frame is ready :) We hope you like it!!!

Crazy Little Monsters in Space - a trip to the planetarium

There are many attractions in Zielona Góra. One of them is the Planetarium "Wenus". We visited this place on 9th February. Here are some pictures from our trip.

We "spoke" with Johannes Kepler - a German astronomer.

At the planetarium we saw a lot of interesting things.

Thanks to the a magic ball could see different planets.









We changed into the cosmonauts.

We had a great time learning about the outer space!

Fat Thursday (Tłusty Czwartek)

In Poland we love FAT  Thursday !!!
We Celebrate it on the last Thursday of Ccarnival [ this year it's on 4 th February].on this
day people eat lots of deep fried pastry ribbons!  (polish: faworki, or chrusty)  and doughnuts with rose marmalade. they are delicious !!!!!
